Hello everyone!
As we welcome the crisp air and vibrant colors of November in Michigan, I am filled with gratitude for our loyal customers and all of you who trust Dr. Shrink to be your shrink wrap supplier each year.
I have heard from several longstanding marine customers this season and I want to extend my deepest thanks to each of you for your continued business and support. Dr. Shrink has hundreds of skilled and talented marine shrink wrap installers; I enjoy following several of you on social media and seeing all your excellent shrink wrap jobs! Last week, I was able to play a small part in our local “Paint the Town Pink” event which is put on by our local hospital; raising awareness about cancer while gathering funds to support those who are currently battling and fighting the disease. As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, let us remember the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together.

Local "Paint the Town Pink" Survivors' Rock
While Dr. Shrink does not sell pink shrink wrap any longer, we kept several rolls in stock for local community events during October which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Manistee’s “Paint the Town Pink” event made its reintroduction to the community after a short hiatus. This year, Munson Healthcare planned a Women’s Health Social for overall awareness to women’s health, an Awareness Walk, as well as “Paint the Town Pink” apparel.
This event celebrates those who are battling, surviving, and supporting loved ones with cancer. All proceeds from the Women’s Health Social and apparel sales go to the Munson Healthcare Cancer Patient Needs Fund which supports patients with ALL forms of cancer.
Cancer survivors, those battling cancer, and those supporting had the chance to sign the pink shrink wrapped Survivors’ Rock.

EXPLANATION OF DR. SHRINK'S ZIPPER ACCESS DOORS FOR SHRINK WRAP COVERS
Gain access into your wrapped shrink wrap project with a high quality Zipper Access Door from Dr. Shrink. This video explains the most popular sizes of Dr. Shrink’s Zipper Access Doors (30″x36″, 30″x48″, and 36″x48″) and also explains how to install them on a shrink wrap cover.
Zipper Access Doors are taped on the finished shrink wrap cover to allow access into a shrink wrapped object without compromising the durability of the cover. Use a film knife to cut the inside of the opening for access into the shrink wrapped object. Doors are available in the above listed sizes, in clear, white, or blue. Larger doors are also available in 40″ x 82″ Heavy-Duty (clear) and 36″ x 72″ (clear and white).
This year’s boat shrink wrap recyclers went above and beyond! Over a hundred individuals, marinas, community leaders, and non-profits recycled 2,382 EZ-Fill Recycling Run Bags from Dr. Shrink, Inc. filled with used boat shrink wrap. These recycling efforts helped conserve an abundance of oil, energy, and landfill space that typically would have been used in the manufacturing and disposal of new plastics.
Registration for the 2025 program will open in January. Join the Recycle Run mailing list, and we’ll let you know when and how to participate in Michigan’s official boat shrink wrap recycling program!

Customer Pickup Information For This Fall
Customers are welcome to pick up their orders from our warehouse in Manistee, MI- orders must be placed and paid in advance and you will need to call upon arrival. Please make sure you reference the weight and dimensions of your shrink wrap rolls and other items to be able to accommodate your pick-up.
Information to note prior to pick-up:
- Come to the back of Dr. Shrink for pickup (shipping/receiving area)
- Please do not block loading dock area
- Remain in your vehicle and call 800-968-5147 to let us know you are here for pickup
We are open for pickup Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm EST.
We are also open on Saturdays until November 23rd from 9:00am-2:00pm EST. If you place an online order for Saturday pickup, the order must be placed Friday by 3:00pm EST.
