Registration for 2026 Recycling Run is OPEN!

For well over ten years, the Recycle Run has served as the official collection program for boat shrink wrap in Michigan. In 2025, over 2,700 Recycle Run bags were collected (321 more than the previous year)! 122,530 lbs of shrink wrap was picked up to be recycled, which equates to over 60 tons of plastic diverted from Michigan landfills!

ALL SHRINK WRAP USERS CAN TYPICALLY RECYCLE LOCALLY…

Remember to keep it C.0.0.L. which is our easy reminder to make sure your wrap is CLEAN, has ZERO accessories (vents, strapping, doors, etc.), has ZERO moisture (be sure it is dry), and is LOOSE when packed for recycling.

Phillips Restoration Inc. Shrink Wrap Protection

Please find a few photos below from a job completed by Phillips Restoration Inc. in Coyemans, NY. The top of this building was shrink wrapped for weather protection until the roofers could get there to rebuild it. The shrink wrap installer pulled 90′ of wrap and folded it in half, then dropped it over the top. 3/4″ strapping was used for 4 bands top and bottom and 2 in the middle. This building is now well protected from the elements until it will be fully repaired and restored. Nice work to Phillips Restoration!
